From an early age her father began teaching her to play guitar, her mother sang and her grandfather played guitar, fiddle and mandolin.
With influences as diverse as Heather Alexander, Loretta Lynn, The Wilson sisters of Heart, K.T. Tunstall, and many more, Shana has developed her own style of story telling.
Shana began performing in 2008 at S.C.A. events. From Pirates to princesses, from fairy to the founding of America and westward expansion, Shana tries to lend a sense of time and place as she brings both traditional and original music to the ear.
Shana also performs as Seana Minstrel at S.C.A. events.
